Which Port Orange parks and local stops should you choose?

Choose a Port Orange park based on whether you want a lakeside walk, a boardwalk or sports facilities. All Children’s Park and Buschman Park are both on Spruce Creek Road, while Fredrick Park and Airport Road Park offer different kinds of outdoor recreation.

All Children’s Park

At 5959 Spruce Creek Road, All Children’s Park has a boardwalk trail, covered pavilion, picnic tables and grills. It suits a stop that combines a walk with a picnic.

Buschman Park

Buschman Park, at 4575 Spruce Creek Road, has a boardwalk into a lake, covered pavilion picnic areas and a three-quarter-mile walkway around the lake. Choose it for a longer lakeside stroll.

Fredrick Park

Fredrick Park sits at Fredrick Avenue and Commonwealth Boulevard. Its one-third-mile trail circles a lake with a fountain, leashed pets are welcome, and its hours are dawn to dusk.

Airport Road Park and The REC

Airport Road Park, at 6751 Airport Road, has two soccer fields for open play, six lighted tennis courts and a covered pavilion. For indoor activities, The REC has basketball, pickleball and volleyball courts, an indoor playground, a sensory playroom and an esports lounge.

At The REC, children aged 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult on weekdays before 1 PM.

If you’re also planning time downtown, the Daytona Beach Boardwalk and Pier visitor guide offers a different kind of stop.
